Today –
constant flow of energy –
a flurry of laughter and chatter
flowing all around me.
Busy since I woke up
and still busy right now.
I’m starting to feel you fade
from my mind like worn ink
from pages of my favourite
childhood fairytale book.
I’m ok that I am nothing
to you but you’ll still be
something to me
and –
I find comfort in that –
somehow.
This post is short and sweet
I have a book to read.
Friends to chat with –
so sweet dreams
and good night.
